MatchEdge ("we", "us", "the Service") provides free AI-powered tools and educational resources for residency and fellowship applicants. By using this Service at matchedge.ai or resources.matchedge.ai, you agree to these Terms of Service.
We provide free AI-powered tools to help residency and fellowship applicants improve their personal statements and ERAS CV experience descriptions. The Service currently operates as a free beta. No payment is required to use any feature during the beta period.
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose: improving your own residency or fellowship application materials. You agree not to:
Content you submit, including personal statement drafts and CV descriptions, remains yours. We do not claim ownership over anything you submit or any AI-generated output you receive. Personal statement and CV text is not stored after processing. Only AI-generated feedback output is retained to monitor service quality.
The Service is an educational tool. AI-generated feedback and suggestions are a starting point and should be reviewed and personalized before submission. We do not guarantee any specific application outcome, interview invitation, or match result.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for decisions made by residency or fellowship programs based on materials you prepare using the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MatchEdge's liability is limited to direct damages. Because the Service is currently free, our aggregate liability shall not exceed $100 USD.
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be noted with an updated date above.

This Privacy Policy describes how MatchEdge collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Service at matchedge.ai and resources.matchedge.ai.
We collect minimal information necessary to operate the Service:
We do not store the personal statement text or CV descriptions you submit. These are processed in real time and discarded after generating feedback.
Your information is used to provide and improve the Service, monitor AI output quality, and communicate important updates. We do not use your information for advertising.
Content you submit is sent to Anthropic's API for AI processing. This data is used solely to generate your requested feedback output. Anthropic's usage policies prohibit using submitted content to train AI models without explicit consent.
AI-generated feedback output is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Personal statement and CV text is never stored.
The Service is currently free. No payment information is collected or stored.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with third-party service providers necessary to operate the Service, each bound by their own privacy policies. We do not share your data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
Email addresses provided during beta are retained until the beta period ends or until you request removal. AI feedback output is retained for service quality monitoring. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the form below.
